A marketplace for unfinished GitHub projects. You buy a scanned vault copy of leftover code, or you grow a bunch for funding and help without selling the original repo.

A peel is a buyout: the founder freezes a private vault copy and a buyer peels it off. A bunch is co-financing and help: the founder keeps the original repo, backers pledge or offer a role, and contributors can claim tasks.

An isolated vault copy plus rights to that copy — not customers, revenue, a company, or automatic handover of domains, databases, or Stripe. Those extras are checkboxes on the card, not magic.

Vault invites go to a GitHub user. Dropping a peel, growing a bunch, and peeling a copy all need GitHub. A company email login can browse, back, and help, but it cannot receive the vault invite.

Listing is free. The platform fee is 10% of a peel sale. That covers the scan, vault copy, and holding funds. Bunch pledges are preview until Stripe.

Digital goods are not returned once cloned. You get three days to claim the copy is not as listed or does not run from the README. Claims are reviewed by hand. Before checkout you accept the Buyer Pre-Access NDA.

You sign it at checkout, not on catalog cards. If the deal is refunded you cannot keep, copy, or build on that code for 24 months. The full text is on the Buyer NDA legal page.

A peel with keys in git history does not go live. The vault scan has to pass before a listing is for sale.

Side Peels lists open bunch work and helper cards. It is not a job board and not a wage. Solutions is accepted bunch work you can search by stack, role, and topic.

Not yet. Checkout is preview: no card is charged, a deal still starts, and the three-day window runs on the server.
