BOREDBANANA.IO — BUNCH CONTRIBUTOR TERMS
Version v1.0-2026. Last updated: 25 August 2026. This is the text you accept when you claim a bunch task.
These Bunch Contributor Terms ("Terms") are a legally binding click-wrap between you ("Contributor") and the founder who listed the Bunch ("Owner"). BoredBanana.io records the acceptance. Claiming a task is not employment, partnership, or a sale of the repository. By scrolling this document and checking the box, you agree to the following:
1. INDEPENDENT CONTRIBUTOR — NO EQUITY, GOVERNANCE, OR EMPLOYMENT
You are an independent contributor. Claiming or completing a Bunch task does not make you an employee, contractor of BoredBanana.io, co-founder, partner, or member of the Owner's company.
These Terms do not grant equity, voting rights, board seats, manager authority, or any right to direct the project. A separate off-platform agreement is required for any of those.
A free help offer on a Bunch remains a handshake. A claimed task records a share entitlement against a future on-platform cash event only — it is not ownership of the repo.
Side Peels is a public catalog of open Bunch work and helper cards. Publishing a card or sending an intro does not create employment. Claiming a task on a Bunch is still acceptance of these Terms.
2. IRREVOCABLE ROYALTY-FREE LICENSE FOR MERGED CODE
If the Owner accepts your submission (or merges your work into the listed project), you grant the Owner an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, sublicense, and commercially exploit that contribution as part of the project, including a later peel sale of a vault copy.
You warrant you have the right to contribute the work, that it is original or properly licensed, and that it does not misappropriate third-party trade secrets or employer IP.
You are not assigning your entire copyright in unrelated work. You are licensing the contributed code and related materials submitted for this task.
3. PAYOUT ONLY ON AN ON-PLATFORM CASH EVENT — NO GUARANTEED MINIMUM
A task share is not a wage, not a share of 'profit' from a bugfix, and not a guaranteed payment. Nothing is owed if the project never sells on BoredBanana.io.
If a later on-platform cash trigger occurs for this repository (in this version: a peel sale of a vault copy of the same source repo), the Owner's net after the platform fee may be split using the accepted share percentage, subject to any cap recorded on the task. Contributor payouts are not charged a second platform fee.
Payouts are not processed in this phase. Claiming a task records the entitlement and the click-wrap. If no qualifying sale happens, the share may be worth zero. BoredBanana.io is not a party to any off-platform promise the Owner makes.
