What Side Peels is

Need-help cards are open Bunch tasks (a share of founder net if that same repo later sells as a peel on BoredBanana) and live bunches seeking hands (a free handshake). Offer-help cards are helper pitches: roles, stack, and whether the person helps for free, for a share, or both.

Founders list by growing a Bunch — same GitHub scan, original repo stays theirs. Helpers claim a task, send a help offer on the bunch, or publish a helper card so a founder can ping them.

What it is not

Not employment, contracting through BoredBanana, or a guaranteed payment. Not equity, salary, hourly billing, time tracking, or labor escrow. Not buying the vault copy — that is Peel It Off.

An intro is a note plus GitHub identity. It is not a chat thread, not a contract, and not a hire. Claim / lend-a-hand on the bunch remain the real handshake. Accepted work is archived on Solutions; that is shipped work, not open work.

Money

Help offers and intros are free. Listing a helper card is free. A task share is a percent of the founder’s net after the platform fee, only if an on-platform peel sale of that repo happens. Optional priced modules after accept are a preview component sale of that piece — still not a wage and not the whole vault copy.

Until Stripe is live, pledges, peel checkout, task splits, and component checkout are preview records. BoredBanana is not a party to any off-platform promise.

Terms that still apply

Claiming a Bunch task still requires the Bunch Contributor Terms. Selling or buying a vault copy still requires the Seller IP Assignment Deed and the Buyer Pre-Access NDA. Side Peels does not replace those documents.
