Drop a Peel. Keep the original repo.

BoredBanana lists a scanned vault copy, not a transfer of your GitHub original. Buyers pay for the leftover work; you keep the source until you choose otherwise. Listing still needs GitHub. A company email account is the BU-tagged login for the cabinet — not a substitute for the GitHub App on drop.

  • Connect GitHub and pick a repo you administer.
  • A secret scan must pass before the peel can go live.
  • You write why it was abandoned, % done, price, and extra assets (domain/db/hosting as checkboxes).
  • Before the peel goes live you accept the Seller IP Assignment Deed: ownership warranty, IP transfer after the inspection window, and a 24-month no-clone rule.
  • Payout sits on a 3-day hold after a buyer peels it off.
  • Platform fee is 10% on sale. Listing a peel is free. The fee covers scanning, vault transfer, and holding funds — no extra charges.
Drop a Peel

Need money or hands instead?

A bunch is the other door: same GitHub scan, but you keep the original repo and ask for funding, help, or both. You can also post tasks with a percent of a future peel sale. Helpers find those open tasks and help asks on Side Peels. Convert to a peel when you are ready to sell a vault copy of the same repo. Accepted shares split from your net after the platform fee — preview until Stripe. Post Updates on the card after pledges or accepted work. Equity stays off-platform.

Grow a Bunch

Swap instead of selling

If someone else listed a peel you want, propose a Peel Trade on their public profile: your vault copy for theirs, with optional cash. Drop first if your repo is still only on GitHub. Bunches stay bunches.

Find a helper on Side Peels

Helpers can publish a card (roles, stack, free and/or a share). You ping them with which bunch needs hands — a note plus GitHub, not a hire and not a wage. Open tasks you post also show on Side Peels. This is discovery, not a job board. See the Side Peels notice.
